Love love love

It's YA so there are parts that are a little cringe but they are young so it's okay. 

Love a YA romance that also has bonding with family and parents. 

A Master of Djinn by P. Djèlí Clark
Did not finish book. Stopped at 54%.

I really liked the first 35% of the book but then the story seemed to get unnecessarily complicated and confusing with the villain and where it was going and I'm pretty sure I can guess the end/twist but I just can't listen to six and a half more hours to get there

I liked the multiple POVs in this book compared to the first book. 
Some of the plot got a little lost or had some plot holes but overall is good. 
Would have been 5 stars but it suffers from one trope that is disappointing.
