it was very enjoyable to read but i don’t think miles deserved tate. don’t get my wrong i LOVED miles so so much but it was weird how quickly he turned around his attitude and they had no chemistry. they’re whole relationship didn’t feel real and was so forced. i cared more about the back story of miles and rachel and i wish we could have seen more into that and that tate would be a stepping stone to recovery because i feel like it was weird how he only every loved rachel then all of a sudden first girl he kisses he loves and marries. definitely kept me intrigued tho and had be sobbing over clayton

the book and plot in its entirety wasn't my fav ever i just felt like nothing was happening but I really love the night/day scenes which turned out to be Ruhn and the Hind and i’m super excited to see how that plays out and i need to know what happened to Tharion and now his life being separated from his fiancé. THE LAST CHAPTER THO IS WHAT MADE THIS BOOK 5 STARS… best plot twist ever ever ever in a book and I was not expecting that AT ALL. The only thing i’m feeling rn is I’m not that attached to Bryce or Hunt rn and idk how to feel. They didn’t have a lot of growth or a good storyline this book and I am more attached to the side characters such as Ruhn, Tharion, Ithan.  Also I like Celestina but she betrayed!! Agggh. I want more Baxian too!! Something about Bryce and Hunt being endgame doesn’t feel right to me but idk cause they’re mates!! Like i feel like Sarah is almost holding back on her writing and not making them to be their fullest potential on purpose because something about them is just.. off feeling. It’s hard to explain

one word for this book… betrayal. i literally have no idea who to trust, i do not trust cardan rn and i’m SO MAD HE SENT HER AWAY!! And the ghosts betrayal?! geez. i found the first 150 pages to be boring but the plot was good in the end and i loved the last half of the book for all the plot twists

this felt slightly unnecessary because it basically just retold the parts of the first book but i did like hearing about locke and taryns relationship and how he treated her awfully and how taryn is stupid and lame for letting it happen.

haha.. i love you cardan pls marry me.. please. but fr Jude is freaken cool and also I really like Vivi!! Taryn hasn’t been my fav since the start tho she kinda toxic like ugh. and what the heck she let Jude sit and be with Locke knowing he was going to ask Taryn to marry her! Like immediately k was like nope. And Taryn never stood up for nothin! But fr I love Cardan and I love little Oak and the world is so amazing like i REALLY enjoyed this book. More than i thought i would

I LOVED MISHA, also i loved loved loved the concept behind this book like the PENPALS WAS SO CUTE OMG! I loved the enemies to lovers so much in this book and i loved how strong Misha was but so gentle towards Ryen and bahhh! Trey got what he deserved and this book just played with my feelings. Hot bad boy who is actually nice but still a bad boy was conveyed so great. Also suspense and mystery and plot twists wrapped in romance!! 🤤

this one felt slighted dragged on and like there was almost no plot? like i could not tell you what really happened other than they explored a bit. this book was way more character based which i enjoyed because in the last book i didn’t feel connected to the characters. I now love the Hawthorne brothers and i loved figuring out the family tree in this book but it felt like there was no other plot than the family tree until the end was rushed with a plane crash followed immediately by a kidnapping which were both very fast and didn’t even really add to the plot. just wish they could have balanced plot and character between the two books. I am currently team Jameson over Grayson and ik everyone is gonna hate me for it 😂 honestly would have wished Toby was her dad not Ricky. I liked hearing about Toby’s life but the past seemed really scattered and like there was no reason or intention between what Avery’s mom and Toby were doing and it was like random things were just thrown and not connected proper.

I wasn’t super duper attached to the characters but man I need to read more mystery because I was hooked at the end and I loved the easy way that you were always on track to getting towards something. Love the twisted family and I wish I had money like Avery did. I NEED TO KNOW WHY HE CHOSE HER… i swear if it’s only because her name spells “a very risky gamble” i will cry. I need more. Also when Tobias writes in the final bit to Xander “find Toby Hawthorne” what does he mean?! It says he had photos of Avery playing with Harry (aka Toby) in the park so why didn’t Tobias go find him if he knew where he was?! I loved the storyline with Emily it was so intriguing. I am so curious as to who Avery’s love interest is going to be because at the beginning i thought it was Xander cause he was showing her around and they seemed connected, then I was for sure it was Jameson because they were together and kissed and it seemed clear it would be him but was there something with Grayson at the end?!? What about Nash and Libby?!

OOO I DO LOVE AARON. This book got 4 stars because it was such a cute lil romance that had me grinning literally the whole time and i loved the slow burn and everything about the way Aaron treated Catalina was so amazing like i want him to be my boyfriend please.

def just would have enjoyed when i was younger because it definitely felt that it was meant for a younger demographic but it was still cute and i wanna be Alosa because she’s the coolest ever with her abilities and her and Riden were very much super duper cute
