this book scratched my brain in such a good way.

the banter?!!!!!!?!?!?!? the tension??? the writing?? actual slow burn??? likeable characters??? chef's kiss all over. i adored jamie and her humour along with jackson's. but the banter....yeh, that shit was GOOD.

justtttt such a good silly romance bookkkkkk

this was the silliest thing i have read in my life and i loved it.

nobody writes humans being their peculiar selved as good as fredrik backman does and he delivers it all with good humour and lovely metaphors for kids growing up and losing a pet :")

this is basically miss congeniality in a book form??? it has a good writing ill give it that but idk??? i was bored 60% of the time?? author tried to do everything right (communication, fmc with the "like the other girls and loving it" mentality, obsessed mmc) but idk it felt so forced sometimes? which made the characters a little bit flat? idk okay book but other than that? not much going on
