emotional funny hopeful inspiring reflective sad

10/10. it's the truth. i definitely think this is a favourite of mine so far from her and this one....harriet AND Wyn both...hit a little bit too close to home :"))) i absolutely loved it. and yes, she has done it yet again.

"Like even when something beautiful breaks, the making of it still matters."

little bit conflicted with how to rate it bc i did enjoy it quite a lot, it was funny, loved how obsessed jack is with her, and they're very cute together...but also word big was mentioned too many times in relation to jack (like we get it, he is big, no need to mention it in every other sentence) and mayhaps too many pop culuture references for my taste.

really enjoyed the physics parts of the book too, my knowledge is limited to it of course but it was interesting to read about it.
challenging dark emotional informative lighthearted sad tense

genuinely never cried to a book this much in my life. or series in general. there's just something about fredrik's writing that absolutely pulls me into the story and makes me either love or hate a character with my whole heart and mind. and boy, did i come to love some of them...

from the story, its heaviness, to the characters and their complicated simplicity. never mind the fact that i could barely see to read the last 60 pages from my tears, i have loved reading this book, and the series, too. it will stay with me for s long time.

and to finish this short review that could have been pages and pages long bc i have so much words for this book and yet i fail to express it im judt gonna leave it at:

"He was all heart."

i should get some sleep [starts uncontrollably sobbing]

don't know how to explain it but writing felt a bit choppy at times and sometimes dialogue didn't flow naturally as it was probably meant to but the characters were pretty likable, the story was good and it was still better than most hockey romance books I've read

unbelievably cheesy but i enjoyed it
