It got slow in the middle, and keeping track of all the names was a tad hard, but the end was worth the pay off in my opinion.

Loved the setting and the characters. I love how the tone kept switching between, danger danger, and, look at this peace, and love and hope... Danger danger!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 19%.

Story moves fast, but very slowly?
The first four chapters cover a year or two. Dialogue is often spaced inside informational paragraphs. 

It's comes across more as a nation, telling me exactly what's happening in a scene without showing me. 

It's not a style for me, but the characters certainly are flawed and interesting.

The author does an incredible job of weaving between times and places, describing them in every sense, and in words that shouldn't make sense but stick in you anyway.

Absolutely stunning unique writing style that focuses on emotions and describing them in ways that makes the reader feeling them viscerally along with the characters.

The book is written is such a delightful tone. The author did a great job of narrating in a way that makes you feel inside the main characters head and follow his scattered ADHD  fueled thoughts. 
Also the secondhand embarrassment is real.
