Two women falling in love in over the spans of 24 hours is so cliche and I love it. The whole story was full of laughs and blushing moments. Jack and Ellie are characters that you don’t have to wait a few chapters to like. Jacks character was fun and corny and super relatable and you understand why Ellie falls to quickly. I felt so close to Ellie. Her anxiety and her frets are things I can relate to and absolutely enjoyed her but was frustrated with her too. That’s when you know you’ve written a good character. This was a fun queer holiday romance and I will be returning to this next holiday season.

I can’t believe i devoured this book in a week. I need more BT and Michael. I don’t want to drop spoilers but holy shit what happened to alt mike messed me up. Another tale of struggles, laughter, loss and of course creepy zombies.

This book was short and to the point but had so much backstory throughout that you felt so much for the main character. The big sister always being to blame for what the little sister does, I felt that to my very core. No matter what Cordi did she was never enough, and the fact that her little sister expected her to do her bidding and treated her like she was the problem. ugh! The author did a great job at conveying emotions throughout this story and telling a story of how some family dynamics just suck!

I've fallen in love with Steph and Alex all over again in this adventure that follows the two after they decide to leave Haven Springs to start their own adventure and Journey together. They both have tragedy that bonded them together and now they will go on so many more adventures. I hope they write more stories with these two. Steph is such a funny, loving, and loyal character and I love how nerdy and cool she is. Alex is musically talented, a heart of gold but she also has her own traumas that push her to be better and to do better. Together the pair help one another grow.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
Too gruesome and gut wrenching. Things having to do with harm to kids and animals is hard for me to get through. I tried but I couldn’t. Too dark.
