I'm in love. I completly adored this story.
This has been one of my favorite reads this year! There wasn't a single thing I didn't enjoy in this story, and when it ended it left me craving for more! (I really hope there will be more 🤞 )
We can follow Rhett and Kyla' story, after their meet cute (hey, what'cha drinking?)
Their atraction was obvious and almost palpable. They hook up, and then they kind of stuck together. At first I thought that would be weird, but in the context and characters it made so much sense. They took a step back and worked also on their friendship, and then the marriage of convenience came along. We all could see it was not fake at all, but it sure was fun to let them work through their feelings.
Kyla was a sweet woman, that had a history of anxiety mainly due to her mother's influence and then her ex-fiancee manipulation. She had trouble trusting other people, but Rhett and his family made her feel safe.
Rhett is a cowboy at heart, works in his family ranch, and is in the rodeo competition. He has a heart of gold and is a caretaker and protector. When Kyla needs his help, he is already there.
Their interactions were funny (I loved the petname banter) and loving and also sexy.
Kyla learned to trust in others and also on herself, got a bucket list ticked off, and learned to enjoy ranch life as well as rodeo life.
The story dweled between them, but had so many more details, so many amazing side characters and a wonderful world building that we can only hope that all of them are featured next.
This book made me want to go to a Ranch, and Rodeos and be un that way of life! So very well done! I'll be following this author's every books from now on! Amazing!!

I really enjoyed going back to Thistleton to read what came next to Faelene and Aiden.
As they previously found out they were soul mates and each other's true love. So what's the next step in ther relationship? Not one but two weddings. And the second one is probably going to get Faelene mad with anxiety. Her mother in law is taking over the wedding planning and is making Faelene anxiety go through the roof. And then her magic is expressing on it's own with her panic attacks. She has to learn to calm herself down (and Aiden has several spicy ideas to help) and go with the flow/panic.
The characters were already familiar, so it was just tome to enjoy the story, the laughable moments and the spicy bits between them.
A very good way to enjoy a good night reading.
Holy cannoli! When I truly thought that 'the truth never spoken' was amazing and that the sequel could not be more outstanding, I couldn't be more wrong!
What an amazing story and an incredible book!
I really loved both main characters. Each of them had their own appeal, and made us fall for them (mainly Saint, yeah.. I'm a little biased for marshmallow guys with a protective side).
Roe is a sassy and badass kind of girl, that has so many layers and walls to protect herself from getting hurt that is actually not living in her fullest. She had some deep losses and plays it safe (if she never loves she never loses, right?).
Santiago is a golden retriever kind of man, and is sweet, kind, patient, protective, loving... come onnnnnnnnn!!!!!! That man is perfect!
He is a mechanic and is the same riding (motocross) competition as Roe. They start of as rivals, but thanks to Saint's persistance they grow into something more (friends and then lovers). Just by being there and loving her he shows her that he is all in and that she can let go and start to heal.
“It’s not possession, it’s a claim. Let me worship you, Roe. Let me make you mine, but even more, let me be yours.”
“Let me in, let me show you I can hold you. Hold both your joy and your pain. Hold your wins and your losses. Let me prove to you that you’re worthy. Give me time to convince you that I can love you the way you should be loved. The way you deserve.”
In the middle of the romance and some spiciness, we have a little mystery and suspense and we can speculate on what is happening and who is endangering Roe. We can see Saint's protectiveness come alive too. It's hot!
This is surely just the beggining to an amazing career for this author. What a success!
This book aproaches so many things. We can see grief, sadness, disabilities and at the same time friendship, kindness, a sense of community and love.
Libby returns home after being fired from her job as a flight assistant. But.. hey, maybe it's a good thing as she can now go all in as a chocolate maker (her dream job and passion).
Ethan's a electric engineer, that is home for a small amount of time to help his dad and grandad help with the steam train. In the beggining he feels that he doen't belong and then he starts to crave all the familiar thing he once wanted to run away from.
Libby and Ethan were once friends, but even in their teen years, they had a thing for each other, but some bad things happened, and they grew very appart. Being in the same small town and constantly into each other company makes them reignite their friendship and them makes them fall for each other all over again. But it's a slow, slow, slow burn in this one.
Their path isn't an easy one. They must struggle to find their place and feel worthy of what they can accomplish. They have an amazing support system (friends and family) to help them, and it's endearing to see them all helping them when they need!
The story has a fall kind of vive and then all of a Chistmassy feeling. It makes us want a cozy blanket and just enjoy the ride!

Well, I can say thay this stoy really got me in the mood for Christmas time!
We have a holiday romance between two friends, that at first are afraid to admit their feeling with fear to lose the bond between them.
Well, nothing that a good forced proximity with an ex in the mix doesn't fix!
Gia is a celebrity and is all sunshine, and gets her best friend (and agent) and friend (and bodyguard and secret crush) to go home with her (even if some blackmail is necessary).
When they stay there, her ex gets in the way of things, and grumpy Kade is pushed to admit his feelings in an embarassingly sweet way!
I really liked his grumpiness and reserved moods.
They eventually admit their feelings (the mistletoe kind of helps) and they end up having a christmas and future filled with love.
I've binged this sweet second chance romance in a couple of hours. I found it endearing.
We have two best friends that due to a military injury grow apart and haven't connected in several years. Yes, Nixon makes a wrong choice and had to live with it for a long time. After all that time he finally gets in his head that he can reach out to Savannah and tries to win her friendship and love back. And how could he not? He is perfect! She could never resist such a caring and lovable man. He goes all in to sweep her of her feet and she slowly starts to trust and be happy again.
This was a super cozy and nice witchy (and other paranormal too) read. Its a sweet rom-com with a hint of mystery that makes us have all the fall vibes and gets us ready for halloween.
The story is about Jordyn, a local witch, that summons her ex-girfriends ghost, but by accident she doen't leave and is now hunting her until some things get resolved.
Harlow is a human, and after some previous failures goes to her big sister's small and perky town to try and settle in.
They meet and the attraction is there, and even if the beggining is a little blurry they fall fast and soon have to above all be true to one another and protect each other.
It's a romance about finding love and also finding themselves and their place where they belong.
This book is a simple and easy regency read, that takes us to the 1800's in a world of courtship sprinckled with some magic.
We have Tiffany, a young girl forced to live by the time standard rules, but that doesn't fit in. She discovers she is a witch and that opens a world of possibilities.
Then we also have Santiago, a pirate and a Duke. A man that despite his rough past is atracted to Tiffany and does all he can to make her happy and safe. His character was the best in this book!
They start some adventures together and fall in love. Their history has some bumps on the road, all seasoned with a bit of witchiness and banter.
Definitly an enjoyable read!
I'm still swooning after this amazing story. Nyssa has become one of my favorite authors this last few years. I love her writing, her story development, her characters, her stories altogether. I keep counting the time until the next book comes out, and this one was no different.
We have the story about Eastern, a single dad, ex-military protective man, that is now Misty Peack's sheriff. He does his best to serve his town and to provide everything to his little girl, Avery (an awsome character, btw). Sadie has just return to town, after leaving her fianceé. She used to be Avery's nanny and loves that girl as her own. She is given the opportunity to help take care of her once again.
And this get them both closer. They have a big attraction from the begining and the more time they spend together more that feeling grows.
And then lots of things happen, and put the girls in danger, and getting Eastern in overprotective mode (I love this overbearing protective big teddy bears).
They have a great dynamic with the rest of their family and all that foind family is amazingly strong in this book and series.
I just loved it all!!
This is begining to be something I just take fro granted. I know I'm going to love the story even before picking it up, and I'm never wrong! 🫠
I love Taylor's writing and world building and her way of making me fall deep withing her story and words. As previously happend, this book was another big hit! 🤯🤯
I loved broody and sulky Jax. Even not being a man of saying much, he had an amazing presence, and all his shell protected a very caring man. Dangerous, but caring.
He starts by stalking Thea (and organizing her house while doing it... it was funny to know such a a man was a tidy one), but is then forced to make himself present when she is in danger.
Thea is a pocket full of sunshine. She glows and we can see that through the pages. But don't let this fool you. She is strong sassy and feisty, and can keep Jax on his toes when needed.
They continue to fight Gideon, and keep trying to get rid of rhe danger that lingers. They have several altercations, get hurt in the process, but manage to pull through.
As before, the Guardians inner beast is quite primal, but also funny. I turned out wanting him out more oftern. And the side characters, mainly Lucy and their new Pixie friend were top notch!!
I'm counting the days next, to Lucy's story!! Finally it will be his turn 🤗🫠😍
