The best way to describe this one is sweet, cozy with lovable characters.
We are charmed by all the small town and kindness vibe it transmits, and that puppy happiness the MMC gives it's infective.
We start getting all those fall vibes, and start craving che cozyness of a warm blanket, the town festivals, those pumpkin and cinnamon aromas. Reading this story is as if we could almost have it all within our reach.
Victor was just heartwarming. Sweet, funny, caring, helpful, attentive.... just perfect really. And how we see him in love with her from the start but respecting her boundaries, just giving her time and hoping that she would come around! And Olivia, with all her strictness and rules, but with wishes to be more. It was as if she wouldn't allow herself to be happy. Until he broke her walls, one by one.
It's a 'feel good' kind of story and book. I surely recommend it.

This is a sweet and cozy story about two women who fall in love with the help of a little magic.
We follow Corinthia in a journey of self discovery, and also in a quest about love. About believing in something more and in magic.

I really liked Corinthia's character, and actually could realte a little bit with her. A smart independent woman, who is an introvert, loves animals and books and is friendly and loyal. I also liked Stevie. She was funny and a little medling but in a good way.

It was an enjoyable read, but a little descriptive at some points.
I had the privilege to have the audiobook, and it was easy to listen to and although I liked the narrative I believe it would be better if the side characters such as Rosemary and Stevie didn't have childlike voices. At some points it seemed we were listening to child characters and not adults.

I loved this story!
As far as retellings go.. this one was pretty spot on. As I've read this story, in my mind I could place the beauty and the beast story in every step. But as a good retellings go, the author has made it so much interesting and compelling! I really liked this dark and twisted version. Emphasis on the twists and twisted. 🤭

Arabella is a sweet but sassy woman who has had a hard life and is always trying to erase and  amend her father's screw ups. After all, he is all the family she has.
When his debts go sour and he owes money to a very dangerous man all their lifes change.
Her father is locked up by Sebastian. A not so good, but very powerful man. So Ara does all she can to set him free. She takes his place.
Sebastian never accepted this kind of trade, but there is something in her that draws him in.
So they have this forced proximity kind of thing where they are curious about each other but wary at the same time. They banter and keep each other on their toes, and all the while we see them fall for each other.
But there are other dangers around them and in all that mess, could someone get hurt?

I really liked Ara's character. She had the perfect balance between sweet and sassy. She had a balanced moral compass and tried to be just. Through the story we see her gain a little wickedness (just a tiny bit) and it just adds to her personality!
Sebastion wasn't morally grey. He had no morals and all black. He had several traumas and they made him a tough and hard man, who new what he wanted and did what he had to to get there. Until Ara, he had no soft spot. After her.. we found it hidden and dying to come out! He was all alpha, protective and possessive.
The other side characters, mainly Caden and Langdon were really just twisted as Sebastian, but maibe with a little more good inside. And the way they were loyal both to Bas and Ara was what true friendship was about!
I didn't expected (but also kind of did whith the few suble hints throuhg the story) the main twists at the end. And I sure like to be surprised.
We probably won't see this characters again, but Caden and Langdon deserved their stories and their HEA or even HFN.

There are so many trigger warnings I can't count them, but hey.. that makes this one even more interesting and unpredictable.

In this story the FMC really reminds us Bridget Jones, a single woman with a peculiar personality and who is accident prone and has a way to invite trouble her way.
It has christmas vibes and has a unique sense of humor that gets you pretty entertained.

Tiffenie is a 300 year old vampire, who is quite lonely (even if she won't really admit it at first). When a little bite goes wrong and she turns her neighbor into a new vampire she has to flee for a while. And what better place than her inherited Inn in Vermont? While there Tiffenie has to upper-fix the Inn if she wants to try to keep it, has to control a newly created vampire and has to deal with a love triangle between her, the handsome x-mas tree farmer next door and Vlad, her creator and ex-boyfriend.
Despite all odds while in the small town of Valentine, she starts to make connections, making friends, starts to live a little (well.. for an undead person)!
But she was so sttubborn that it was like she could not see what was right in front of her. She had a denial relationship with herself and the fact that she was indeed a vampire and it showed in all her traits and her actions.
Despite some inconveniences she had so much! And when she accepted herself she realised that her happiness was right in front of her and within her reach.
As for the side characters I really liked Heaven, and would have enjoyed to have her more in the story. She became Tiffenie's best friend but we didn’t see much interactions. And Vlad.. he was in love with her for centuries and did all he could for her and she coulnd't see what was right in front of her. He deserved a little more recognition.

The author aimed for a Hallmark vibe and made it!

I've been impatiently waiting for Maverick's story since he was introduced in the previous books. And he sure didn't disapoint!

Sydney is a recently divorced single mom, and a bakery owner stuggling to be the best in all aspects of her life. She needs help but has a difficult way to relay on others. And even worse is her sense of not being worth love, care and help. She has a thing for Maverick, but being mr. perfection like she knows he is, she believes he never in a million years would be into her.
Maverick is a bartender and bar owner in Maple Springs, and is a very good man. He loves is job, and his small town and likes to do what he can to help his community.
He has a crush on Sydney since he first met her. But she was married and like the gentleman he is he never made is feelings known.
But when her marriage crumbles and she is on her own, he grabs that opportunity to swoon her and get his girl. He shows her what true care and true love is, both to her and her kids, and at first we can see all the doubt and appreension Sydney has. And we can tottally understand it after her bad relationship. But with his actions he manages to break those walls and insecurities she has and they both get a loving family.

Every woman needs a Maverick in her life. He is just perfect in every way. There really isn't a thing I would change about his character or this book.

This was a very pleasant journey to a magical small town and its residents.
We travel to Starfall Point, a small town full of ghosts and where magic is alive (even if hidden).
Linney is a witch, part of the Moonshadow Cove, who with the help of her sisters helps to control dangerous ghosts by capturing them and locking them in the Cove.
She and her sisters avoid the outsiders and leave a more secluded life. But Linney is curious and a little bit of a rebel and in secret goes to Starfall Point and mingles with the people there.
On one excursion she meets Gray, a human man who is trying to get is grandfather's business (a ghost tour on the island) even when he never believed in ghosts.
When she is entangled on one of his tours they are drawn to each other. And while gettinv to know each other, some secrets and dangerous perils are experienced by both and but conquering them they learn about their legacies, their families and themselves.
Both main characters are extremely likeable and relatable and we can get easily lost in this story. The side characters give such a major and essencial boost to the story, mainly Mina! Its cozy, funny and inviting.

This story has an inspiration on Charlie's Angels. And when I started it I wondered how it would work out in a book, but it did. Morgan can make anything work.
It's a funny rom-com with two strong and opinionated main character who enjoy a little bicker and banter with each other. It's kind of their forplay 🤭
The Mavens are private investigation/spy company that have a male employer and women spies. They all have a powerfull skill and they complement each other as a team.
Our character, Josie, has the ability to make men surrender at her feet. She is the maneater.
There is no secret she can't make them spill with her flirting and charm. She affects them all.
Well.. there is one who is more immune to her and who sees beyond the maneater curtain..
Rowan is the VP of a group of resorts and lives for his job. When one of their resorts has some problems he goes there and start to investigate for himself.
When several things starts happening at one of the resorts and it looks like fowlplay the Mavens are hired in secret to investigate. And things get interesting when Josie understands that she has to keep several secrets from Rowan since she is there undercover, but at the same time can't make herself to stay away.
Even with the secrets and the mystery they fall, and they fall hard. The chemistry is off the charts and they just click.
I mainly enjoyed Rowan. He was strong and powerful, but understanding and caring at the same time. Had a strong sense of justice, was extremely attentive and was actually a romantic inside.
This story also opens up a whole new world of characters and possible stories and I'm looking forward to see what's next!

Ohh, I've been trying to gather my thoughts on this story. It was a little bittersweet, maybe because I've been really expecting to read Iris and Meph's book and made some really big expectations, but in the first half it was just not what I expected. In the second half it perked up a lot for me and I ended up enjoying this very, very much.
I really enjoy an enemies to lovers story, and this couple took the enemies and disgust and at a really high level at first, even if they were attracted to one another. Their previous misconceptions were obviously on their way and made them bicker and fight and be obnoctious with each other. Even when the beneffits part of the friendship began they were kind of cold at first (the smexy chemistry was off the charts, but there was all there was at first). In the second half, things started changing and we started to see them evolve and grow, both inward and towards each other. All the bickering maintained, but now with affection and care, and we started to see them fall but keep all that perky and quirky relationship.
Iris believed she was unlovable and that didn't deserve forgiveness for her past actions. So she punished herelf even if other had already forgiven her. Meph had the same thoughts about himself because of his inner demon and how he behaved. It was sweet to see them achieve some inner peace and accept each other and themselves.
I can honestly say that I really liked Meph's inner deamon 🤭
We still have that found family vibe, but is not as storng as in the previous books. But we continue to see the other characters from previous books and get glances at the other ones. I'm really looking forward to Raum's story next.
Bth, is Belliel having a Story? I would L.O.V.E. to see that hot headed guy geting all softy for a sweet woman!

I really liked this story and it's characters. It checked all the right boxes right from the start.
It takes us to Montreal, in a paranormal world where there really exists a heaven and hell and some of it's creatures live within humans.
In this one we have Eva, a woman who is a musician and a little sassy with a huge heart. She meets Ash (our broody and a little grumpy deamon) in a bar when he gets mesmerised by her performance. Their attraction is mutual and even though Ash as been cursed from millenia she can see through the curse and see the real him.
They have so much in common that it's easy for them to get entangled in one another. And it's easy for them to fall for each other, even if there are secrets in the mix, and Ash believes he doesn't know how. But he so does!
We see them fight for themselves, to change their beliefs and perspectives, to accept one another and to find a family.
The other characters, mainly Ash's brothers deamons and their interactions made me laugh out loud several times and the book just made me want to listen to more, and more, and more. I was hooked.
Just as in a previous Aurora's book, I kept wanting and needing more. I loved it!
And the audiobook narrative was just spot on! I wouldn't change a thing. It's surely a hit!

Ohhh, boy! I'm not ok after this one!
I gasped, I've cried, I've been so angry I wanted to get in the story to strangle some characters myself and also give some tight hugs of confort.
I can say that I felt so much in this book. So thank you! Thank you for making me feel so alive while reading this story! I've loved it!

My heart broke over and over again for Vel through out the book. He deserved to be worshiped, admired and loved. And for so long he was feared, and mistreated and hated. I kept wanting for the others thoughts to chance and for him to be accepted. He deserved that and so much more. He was not just a deamon. He was so much more! Just like Sypher and their vampire and human friends he felt it all, and loved fiercely. And he protected those he loved. Mainly Elda. We could see his passion and resolve when it came to her and feel how much he would do and to what lenghs he would go to keep her safe and happy.

"I  will fight and die and bleed as many times as it takes to keep you safe. I will strip myself of everything that keeps me together, and I will drag the fractured pieces across this void-cursed wasteland to get you over that border."

Despite everything they went through, Elda was able to see what no other could and was the first to accept and love him for all he was.

“I want everything you have to give me,” she murmured. “Your rage, your pain, the blood you’ve shed, the lives you’ve taken. I see you at your core, and I want it all. I’m not afraid.”

Elda managed to grow as a person and evolve her powers. All those perils and suffering made her become more self assured, fierce and powerful. And together/bounded by love with both demon and angel was able to get some help and answers they desperatly needed.

I really loved and had missed Vel's and Sypher banter. They sounded like brother bickering with one another. And it was a nice chance to have their roles reversed and how they learned to value each other and how much they needed one another to be complete.
I also enjoyed the side characters once again. We grow to love them almost as much as the main ones and they are such an important part of this story. They really do complete it!
And, also.. those twists and some turn left me shattered. The one right before the end? Was it really needed? Come on!!! I'm sad about it. I really am! I sure wasn't expecting that!

And now? Now I'll be wondering what happens and how it will continue until book 3 arrives. Hopefully soon!!
