I binged this book in 10h straight, because I.could.not.put.it.down!! You don't understand... It sucked me in and I could not leave this story untill I finished it!
I LOVED IT!!
I really liked the writing and the way it pull me into the story, as if I was there.
Abigail and Charlemagne found themselfs being friends and working together as writers.
They belonged in diferent worlds, but managed to click so nicely... 🥰
Sometimes I found myself chuckeling alone, like a little loonie. I loved it!
As their relationship evolved, there were also some threats and mistery that brought them closer toguether, and sometimes a little too apart.
The tension, the angst, the pain... I was almost screaming at the characteres to try to do something!!! The twists... and ohh, the surprises!
The tension, the angst, the pain..
I really also enjoyed the sister relationship, closeness and friendship. It got me wondering and wishing that this could be turn into a tiny series (a duet) and Miranda's story was told next maybe??? With Nick, please? ðŸ¤

Olly is an introvert, who isntrying tonget out of her confort zone, so she doesn't get labbeled as boring. Bax is a strughling guardian angel, who has his last chance to reedeem himself by making Olly safe.
Easy right? It would be for the old Olly. Not the taking risks new one.
The more they spent some together the more they end up not being able to resist each other.
Well, it's true that she started going outside her confort zone, but were the life challenging risks she took that gave her the need of a guardian angel?
I really liked this whole series, but this one could't give me the goose bumps and gigglish feeling of the previous ones. I really liked to see de other side character interact here also, giving the big friend/family vibe.
Maybe Harper's story has that sparkel. I hope that one comes next...
Julian (Damian's brother could also have a book of his own, right?)
Rose was such a badass! She had attittude for miles, but was also sweet and caring, so I thought she was actually balanced.
After stepping down as Prima, Rose strugled to find her calling and purpose, and after a few missed tries Hunting turned out to be it for her. Having her sexy demon aiding her surelly helped!
While helping at the Vet's Animal santuary, she got closer to Damian and got into a no strings attached "relationship"/ friends with bennefits kind of thing.
As expected the no strings got extremelly messed up and twisted.
I really liked bothe characters and was cheering for them since chapter 1.

Damian was extremelly grumpy, but with a motive from his past for the grumpiness.
The side characters continued to be all active, being a plus point to the story.
This book tells the story of Violet and Lincoln in a funny paranormal rom-com.
They shared history, and because of a forced miscomunication they grew apart.
Several years later they meet again, and due to fate and some medddling, thet get to an understanding to help each other through a fake relationship.
The fake becomes blurry when their feelings surface once again.
They picked constantly on each other in the funniest way, and their banter was on point. Funny, sexy and lovable!
The other characters were great for this story, with a little taste of what could, and hopefully will, come next.
This was such a sweet christmassy story!!! 🥰
It gave me a perfect christmas vibe right in the middle of March. The only thing that could make this book more perfect would be to read in December!
The story revolves around Ava and Hendricks, that after starting working together find themselfs in a fake relationship/marriage for work purposes.
The banter.... ohhh the banter. ðŸ¤
What starts as both of them giving each other sarcasm and pickyness, slowly grows into friendship and even partnership, and of course, love.
Hendricks is kind of Scroogy and has a tough exterior that breaks with Ava's Cristmas spirit and joy.
I loved both main characters, but also Geoffrey and Colin as well. It's so good to be able to love side characters as well.
I enjoyed Kat's no bulshit attitude.
She is an overactive and overthinker, and finally found the job that keeps her happy.
Her boss, Theo, is a grumpy workaholic guy, with a very big and very good heart.
When she believes she has to help him get away with a way to save both their jobs, she goes all in.
Her devotion to something she believes is an inspiration really! Even if the means became kind of blurry.
They already were a team, but they together became even more.
His devotion to her was endearing.. "I don't know if there's anything I wouldn't do if you asked me, Kat"... And though all the book he totally means (and does) that!
I believe they fell for each other probably at the same time, but he realized it first. And his patience until she also came to that same conclusion... he was perfect!
It was good to see the revenge team all work together again, and gain a new member! They rock!
What a wonderfull and sweet way to end this series.
Holly and Beau were so perfect for one another!
What started as enemies to lovers, soon transformed into a sweet kind of love and understanding that we could only hope existed more around all of us.
I admire Holly's courage to follow her dream, even when it all comes crumbling upon her.
And Beau, for accepting help when he surely needed it.
The became a perfect team.
I'll really miss Freadom Valley 🥰
Well, at firt I was finding Thea a little bit too difficult, but then she kind of grew on me and I started enjoying her character a lot more.
Felix was so sweet. I liked his no bulshit attitude, and tough exterior, but he was really such a softie. Considerate, romantic, gentleman. Always trying to do right, even to his ex, who (let me tell you) did not deserve his thoughtfulness at all (well, Felix ex-wife was a big, big, infuriating Bit**). I wanted to slap her very often through the book.
They went through a lot in this book, and sometimes it seemed that their HEA wouldn't come. After all they were from completly different worlds. We saw him fall first and even though it all ended well, I couldn't shake the feeling that Thea should have made more of an effort to meet Felix in his efforts. It was mostly on him.
This book had a lot of funny moments, most of them endagering Felix lower bits. It had the ability to take my mind away and let me get lost in the story..
Ok... I never though I would be into a Golf book. It's Golf people! BUT I couldn't be more wrong.
This story and it's characters draw as in since the beggining.
First, it's Josephine's persistantly positive attitude, and secong theough all the grumpiness is Well's heart of gold.
I laughed a lot, but I've shed a few tears as well (first right on chapter eleven Wells thoughtfullnes made me tear up a little - happy ones, and then by the end of the book also).
It was endering to see this characters grow, specially Wells. He became a new and improved version of himself, not only because.of Josephine, but just because he learnt to see himself through her eyes and began to value himself also.
I really think this was a perfect way to achive the grumpy/sunchine trope, and It's a hell of a book!
Best book of my year so far.
I actually like paranormal books, although I was not expecting Ali to be the one writing them. On this note, let me tell you that she definitely should.
This story is so good!! I loved the dark humor, the sarcasm, the pettiness between characters. I found myself laughing out loud more than I could count.
As in a very good enemies to lovers we see them grow their feelings for one another, but we have some plot twists and surprises that I actually did not see coming and was really pleasantly surprised.
I wanted more of this story, and I know that It's just wishfull thinking, but can we have Serena's story too so we can have more of this world and characters?
