I almost didn't get this book, but I am so glad I did. I could not guess what was going to happen next and could not wait for them to finally realize that they love each other.

I loved everything about this book. I knew she would find out about her parents, but never thought it would be the way she did.

It was a great story that pulled me in from the beginning. Overall a good read that I enjoyed and loved all the girls and their stories, but I was a bit disappointed that after all the steamy scenes before they got married that on the wedding night there was not a final full steamy scene that you would expect for a wedding night scene.

I normally like a longer book, but this was a great read. I can't wait to read more.

I liked it, but it was a bit too fast for my liking. I was glad that he loved her and was not just wanting to seduce her. I think if it had been longer it would have been great.

Rose Gordon does it again. Every time I read one of her books I get a book crush on the hero and this one was no exception. I loved everything about this book and was laughing when the characters did or said something that I was not expecting like with her sewing and the surprise in the delivery that he had to explain.

Overall a good story, but some parts felt randomly cut short and the back story about her brother needed to be explained more. I did really like the ending because she got what she wanted. I also would have liked more to happen with George's brother and his wife as I loved their story.

I received a complimentary copy from Goodread First Reads. This has become my favorite book! I love scandal books and thought the scandal would be the same as most books (being in a situation that is purely innocent, but seen as wrong), but I was so wrong, yes, it was an innocent situation, but not the normal seen close together alone or she tripped and fell into him etc... And I was hooked from the moment she told her secret and the scandal began. There was so much going on in this book that there was never a dull moment. Most of the time with this much going on, not everything would be finished or you would lose sight of the romance, but it all worked together. You are surprised when you meet his family and when you find out about his first wife's death and just so many other moments. I also have to say I loved her maid when she spoke her mind about something.
