This book is magic ✨

Cass & Marina are everything and reading their story was a joy. Which is exactly what you’ll feel by the end of this book. Per the usual, Julie has me kicking my feet, jumping up and down, SQUEALING, throughout this book. I just loved their chemistry, their tension, their softness, the easy way they fell for each other and their ending, but actually their beginning. It was so so natural for them and help Marina come to terms with things she struggled with throughout the book.

I just really really recommend visiting Never Harbor if you haven’t yet. You won’t regret it.

Thank you Julie & penpalPR for the ARC!

I wrote this book, so take this as you will, but these characters and this town have my whole soul. I poured so much of myself into them and I am insanely proud of what came out the other side and I hope you love them all as much as I do.

The way Katie writes her stories makes them so hard to put down. The Ones We Hate is full love laughter, love, HEARTBREAK, and everything that makes the perfect, heart-wrenching romance novel. She shatters you and picks up the pieces by the end.

This book had me laughing, it had me stressed and it made me FEEL and it was all perfect. I can’t wait for the next story in this series and see what heartbreak Katie has in store for us next.

Also, the shower scene will forever be in my mind. It’s not leaving any time soon. 🔥
