this did feel like a bit of a let down compared to last night at the telegraph club but it was still an enjoyable story!! i definitely want to read more from malinda lo.

SPOILER:

i did not like the cheating troupe used in this book. i wish a different method of exploring yourself was used.

an devastating but hopeful outlook on grief, love, and what it means to have hope in the face of death. this one really got me at the end. i loved all the stories. the third one seemed very separated from the first two and i wish i got to read more of yuichi and mikage.

i think this was a good debut! i wish there was less "telling" and more "showing" in the book. i feel like some of the important events were anticlimactic and luke's over-dominance was too much for me. i think that this author has really great potential and i'd like to read more from her in the future!
