SCREAMING. SOBBING. VOMITTING. I THINK THIS BOOK HAS BECOME MY RELIGION AND IM HOLLERING!!!! 

okay, first of all, Kai and Paedyn? LITERALLY EVERYTHING I WANT IN A SHIP. They're the dynamic I MISS writing with rp partners!!! They're just so!! Good!!

The over-all plot, characters, character development, world is absolutely perfect imo! The King is a despicable villain, and his final scene? CHILLING. 

When I had to stop the book for 10 days, I was in so much DISTRESS. I felt like a zombie, searching for crumbs to keep me going til then. I had so much emotions w this book!!! I'm so glad I picked it up late in the game because I can start the next one asap!! Cause I'd HATE waiting.

I know I'll be a husk of who I am when I finish book two and have to wait for the next one. It's been a while since a book had me IMMEDIATELY wanting to start the next sequel instead of adding it to my "I'll eventually start the next book" list.

Was pleasantly surprised! An easy read, made me giggle, tear up. The romance was cute. I wasn't expected to like this as much as I did and I feel like my slump is over because of how refreshing this book was!

3.25 rating. I didn't hate it, thought it was fun at least. Had a lot of potential moments, but the banter between the two MCs were more implied than shown so it was hard to feel super attached to them.
