I have been such a huge fan of @catnassidy’s work and continue to be with this claustrophobic, bizarre, spine chilling, and truly gross novella, Rest Stop. My husband can attest to the facial expressions I made while reading this wild story that the descriptors above are definitely true 😂

Nat Cassidy has quickly made a name within the horror genre with the beloved Mary & Nestlings, and I love to see him take it to a more extreme level with this one! It goes to show that his writing ability shows no bounds and makes me even more excited to devour future reads by this author!

For a short synopsis, this novella is about a musician named Abe who stops to pee at a gas station while on his way to visit his dying grandmother, and things go very, VERY wrong. We experience real & imaginary horrors while Abe tries to escape the hell he stepped into. I can assure you that you will never see a gas station the same again after reading this 👀

If you like extreme horror & gore, preorder this book! Do it, seriously. It’s so good.

Thank you, Shortwave Books & Nat Cassidy for the copy!!
