Christmas in Quincy by Devney Perry

I am officially obsessed with holiday novellas and this one did not disappoint! My only wish was that it was a full-length book because I wasn’t ready to leave these characters—I loved them both.
Cleo’s a strong, independent, hard-working entrepreneur with a heart of gold and Austin’s those things as well—and he has the sweetest relationship with his mom. ☺️
I’m hesitant to call this a grumpy/sunshine situation (IYKYK), but I think it fits with the initial dynamics of their relationship. Their tension was

CLo does it again with this fully satisfying romantic comedy about two agents battling it out for the same job and their feelings for each other.

I adored Lease on Love last year, and I loved this one just as much!

The Love Wager by Lynn Painter
3.0
This was my first Lynn Painter book; unfortunately, it was just okay for me.
The main thing that threw me was that it was written in third-person dual POV. I don’t think I’ve dealt with that in a read yet, and it was not for me. It was weird and I felt it caused a disconnect between me and the characters.
Highlights:
- fake dating (one of my favorite tropes)
- the steam (good for newbies)
- catching feelings
- friendship development
- date with Stephen
