I just wasn’t a fan of the apocalyptic theme. I didn’t like any of the characters or the language. I don’t want to waste my time on a book that I can tell from the first few chapters is not for me.
To be honest, I didn’t love this book. In the beginning Nesta is a self destructive selfish evil slut, and throughout the book she becomes a nicer slut? I think I would have enjoyed this more if there wasn’t so much sex. I love the story telling, and could have gone without the graphic porno. I only really liked the last 20 chapters or so, the rest were just not it. Nesta got better towards the end, but I wasn’t a fan of her and Cassians relationship very much. Feyre and Rhysand’s was much better in my opinion. I finally did it though I read all of ACOTAR😅

I absolutely loved this book! I loved the adventure, the comedy, the romance. Everything was spot on! The ridiculous flying houses and women pirates. I had so much fun reading this! I need to read more books like this, I was giggling like a schoolgirl the whole time. BRILLIANT, I highly recommend! The characters were so charming and the dialogue was very well written!
I had to DNF this book, maybe I’m being too judgmental, but the writing was not for me. The lack of emotion with a character’s death in the beginning of the book terrible. From the first 2 pages I already knew that this book was dud for me. Maybe someone else will enjoy it, but I didn’t.

I overall enjoyed the book, the FMC was a little annoying to me at times. I think the author was pretty repetitive when it came to her feminist views. I just wasn’t a fan of it. I liked the MMC much better. I loved the action and adventure, and the humor!
This book was just soothing to the soul. Really comforting romance like being wrapped in a warm blanket. Just makes you feel good. The characters really evolve and grow together. I like the flash backs, and I love the Anne of Green Gables references so much! Over all it was a really sweet story!❤️

This book was incredibly disturbing and tragic. I didn’t like that it was super predictable, the writing was good though. This story makes my stomach turn, and I think I’m gonna take a break from this genre for a while.
I got to say I was pretty bored with this book. Maybe because it’s young adult? I really don’t know. Way too repetitive for me, I wanted to slap the FMC. The characters were boring, black and white characters. I wasn’t invested in the love story. I honestly just finished it to say I did. I don’t recommend it to any experienced fantasy readers, you will be disappointed.
This book starts out really slow, takes a while to get into. Once the pace sped up towards the middle I started to get more interested in the story. I don’t love the fact it lacks some originality. If you have read the “The Guest List” by: Lucy Foley, you know what I’m talking about. Once again all the characters are connected and the ending is a bit predictable. I like the characters in this book better than the “the guest list” and I think the writing was improved. Other than that exactly the same plot. 2 young people committed murder and 1 wasn’t able to live with the guilt. I would have liked to have read a different plot or twist by this author. It feels like the same story different title. 🤷🏼♀️
