My scale is 3 stars for I liked it, 4 really liked and 5 loved.

Predictable but still entertaining, light - makes me feel bad for women dealing with weddings today. As I always said, we put far too much emphasis on the weddings and not enough on the marriages.

While I was interested in one or two of the characters (Suling the primary of them), I could not empathize with the other primary character (Gemma) at all which had me questioning whether or not to finish the book. Had it been a tad longer I probably would have DNFed it.  It’s a shame because there was some good plot development but that along with a canned villain and a neat bow at the end left me feeling unfilled and wishing it could have been more.

There was a bit too much dragging of the story too it’s inevitable end. It’s a shame because it had the potential to be a 4+ star and ended up 3.25-3.5 instead
