This is a well written horror story as I felt sick reading the whole thing.
I want to point out to potential readers that even though it is pretty obvious by the description that this is a disturbing book, the mention of torture, rape and general disregard for human/animal life is a constant and incredibly uncomfortable for anyone who usually needs a trigger warning when hearing about these topics.
If you can read about these themes and not be deeply affected then I recommend this book as the story is engaging and well formed but the horrific nature can be too much at times.
