Everybody told me Ali loves going on and on about how big the dude is... And oh my, it's even more than I've imagined.

I liked what I read, but couldn't stomach the idea of 700 pages of this.

Love the concept, some scenes were really deeply disturbing (in a good way), but it didn't keep me interesting. Even though I'm not one for poetic writing this one was too plain.

Nature-themed things are not for me. I tried, but it is too calm.

Such a nope for me. Concept was interesting, but the writing style is so plain, so simplistic. I am not a fan of flowery prose, but this was just... Idk, mechanical almost. I've read the first story only.
Oh, and the constant addition of new rules just made me roll my eyes. Like, come on, couldn't you just say all you need to say at once. Christ, so annoying.

I like the down-to-earthness of Rooney's work.
I qualm I have is that all her protagonist are thin. Yeah, ok, maybe not a problem in general, but sometimes it makes me roll my eyes after 4th or 5th description of small, thin woman.

So much to relate in the mental health department here. Sometimes it hit too close too home.
No lie, I skipped some of the descriptions, but I really like the book.

Very cute, but the sister's relationship is as much big in this story as the romance. I'm not into families so that bored me at times; if that's not your cup of tea as well then be aware.
