Really struggled to stay interested in this. The characters lacked depth in my opinion; they didn’t draw me in which is incredibly important to me. I just didn’t get the allure of this book unfortunately. The end was okay though... I guess

Nope. not my cup of tea. I've heard great things about Osho's books and this one started out strong. But it became a chore to pick up and lost me at his opinions on women and motherhood. He clearly states that women with children glow more beautifully and are "happier" than women without. And that women without will never be fulfilled. I don't agree with most of the things he said in this book :/

I typically love these types of books, and because of Dark Matter… I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, I was so ready for it to be over. It was incredibly repetitive and tedious. The idea was intriguing and it had potential, but it fell flat for me. Also seemed like there were a lot of plot holes. Meh
The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav

his book was extremely comforting to me. I felt like i learned from it and viewed life from a different perspective (especially in the chapter where he talks about spiritual relationships vs marriage). I've read my share of "spiritual" books and they don't all live up to expectations. This one does.

I have a great affinity for New York City... anything that transports me back to those streets for a short time makes me feel alive. so 4 stars, happily :)
