Dnf - there's a lot of medical diagnosis's being thrown around for someone who is not a psychiatrist. I understand the sentiment, and I also agree to and extent. But we're completely missing out on the impact of Reagan, capitalism, the patriarchy, religion, and the ever growing rich 1%. Boomers so absolutely suck, 100%, but they are a symptom of a much larger problem.

This is a dense ass book, 34 hrs total. But it's such a good read. It really puts class consciousness into perspective. Instead of fighting horizontally for scraps we need to be fighting vertically for a better future for all. All war is war against children.

"I'm not like other girls, I'm old". But the point I had to put it down was when the other kids were "bullying" her saying that her "hair was looking a little blue", your telling me highschool kids would get and understand that joke when I had to explain it to other adults.

This is a HARD read, but probably one of the most important books I've read this year. Not many people are willing to talk about the abuse children face underneath Evangelical Christianity, or the dangers of homeschooling.
