Disturbing...
This book definitely gave me chills and even brought tears.
4 stars because I feel the ending could have been a tad bit better developed, but overall and EXCELLENT, quick read.

Although this book started off slow and I really didn't connect with or even like the characters, I ended up liking The Final Girl Support Group.
A little more than halfway through the pace picked up and an actual plot started to reveal itself. I would definitely recommend the read. Just hang in there with it and it will eventually get there.
Well written. Humor is refreshing and my type of humor (a little on the dark side).

Well, let's see...
I really wanted to LOVE this book. I didn't. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it.
The characters annoyed me. So many times I wondered, ok, is this all Eleanor's psychosis or...?
Definitely an odd bunch of characters thrown together in a literal love/hate relationship. Seriously, it was dizzying to try to keep up with the relationship dynamics.
The actual "haunting" was never even explored. After finishing the book, I feel like Jackson did this purposefully leaving the interpretation of the "haunting" up to us, the readers. During the read, however, I was irritated with her for leaving it so vague.
I kept expecting something more with each turn of the page, but was sadly disappointed.
That said, Jackson writes beautifully and entertainingly. I just didn't love her story navigation.

So many told me they skipped "Tower of Dawn" completely... Didn't even want to read it because it was from Chaol and Nesryn's POV...
Well, did they ever miss a great story.
I enjoyed TOWER OF DAWN more than I did EMPIRE OF STORMS (which took me forever to finish).

Don't skip this one!

No one...NO ONE can deliver a story like Grady Hendrix.
The 80's nostalgia only gave me all the warm fuzzies!
This book had me from the get-go and Man, Oh, Man! What a ride down the highway to the danger zone.
The ups and downs and the "how-is-this-ever-going-to-work-out"- nail-biting - don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo; This book delivers all the suspense.
In the way only Hendrix can do it...he does it (no spoilers). I was just living on a prayer to the end.
No poured sugar, sticky sweet, cream-filled, fluffy ending. Nay, nay.
I definitely shed a tear or two during this one, but also had several laugh-out-loud moments as well.
Hendrix, I'm hopelessly devoted to you.

I felt a range of emotions while reading this one; sadness, anger, rage, heartwrenching despair...
Even through all of that, this story is beautiful in its tragic desolation - Overcoming so much and reaching for something better.
I still have that empty feeling in the pit of my stomach and a lump in my throat after finishing this read. {heavy sigh}

I highly recommend, though. 5⭐'s

This felt like the book that would never end to me. Probably my least favorite of the series. I set it down for 5 months and finally picked it up and finished it.

Ok, so, Maas ended this series with a BANG!
I was getting a little worn out with this series during EMPIRE OF STORMS. TOWER OF DAWN redeemed the series for me and KINGDOM OF ASH brought it home in a big way.
I even shed some tears a few times during this one. It was a superb wrap up.

My opinion is probably unpopular, but here goes:
I don't like Aelin. She annoys me and Geeezzz Louise with all the "swaggering" *eyeroll* BUT I mean, whatever.
Manon is probably my favorite character of this series. I would LOVE a series devoted to her as MC and covering the whole tale of the Iron Teeth witches.
