The Only Game in Town by Lacie Waldon

Go to review page

Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.
I LOVED Lacie Waldon's first two books....this is not the same vibe unfortunately. The writing feels a little stiff and the characters feel pretty two-dimensional. I will continue to read her other releases, but this one wasn't for me. Read this if you like small town stories!

If you're a fan of romance, you'll love this! Jimenez does a great job capturing the feeling of falling in love, especially when it catches you by surprise. I appreciated the timeliness she chose for Sloan and Jason's relationship, it was fun seeing so them in so many different settings and stages. I balled my eyes out during many points. I'm still thinking about this book, and I probably will be for awhile!
