Another great read by Riley Sager! Jules is apartment sitting at the swanky Bartholomew, but something is amiss. This book takes us on a journey to figure out why people are missing after taking jobs here. Sure, I saw the twists coming, but it was well written, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s nice to read a thriller where the main character isn’t absolutely insufferable and helpless.

What lengths will some women go to in order to stay relevant? What about in order to seek revenge? I was hooked from the start of this addictive thriller. There were a lot more twists and turns than I expected, and I did not see all of them coming! And this is kind of a spoiler, but Genevieve was giving Dee Dee Blanchard vibes and Savannah was definitely giving Gypsy Rose vibes. Loved the ending giving some justice but still a little dark.
