I love Abby Jimenez’s work. The romance is lovely but more importantly there are real struggles depicted so well. People are flawed and hurt and she treats them so kindly. Love it!

I was inspired to read this because the author is giving a talk at work and I’m so glad I did. This book is such a great mix of personal reflection, inspired by a friend and colleague who died, but also science and studies that back up the theories. It was great!

This was a short novel about a small town in Ireland trying very hard to ignore what is happening at the convent. I loved how reflective the main character was. So good!

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this. The snippets of different aspects of “wintering” were definitely interesting but it starts as if it’s telling a story with those things incorporated, which it definitely is not. So I think I would have enjoyed it more if it were constructed differently. But overall, it was interesting.

This is only the second Taylor Jenkins Reid novel I’ve read but I enjoy how she uses storytelling. Literally someone telling their story to another in her books. I enjoy getting lost in someone’s memories.

This was a sweet rom com. Would probably fit better in the YA or NA category, but it was cute.
