I got to see this show at the MFA and it was so awesome. This is an interesting book that goes into more detail about Sargent’s methods and the fashion behind his paintings.

I loved this book so much! It was so lovely and touched on so many emotions. It made me cry as an adult who had a not great relationship with my father. I’m sure it speaks volumes for all the kids trying to find representation for themselves as well.

Such a great book that explains how the government works and how we can have a part in shaping it. It is full of prompts to help you think about what is important to you and what you won’t feel overwhelmed doing yourself. A great book for this tumultuous time!

I was able to read an ARC of this. I wanted to like it, but unfortunately I really didn’t. It had a quirky premise and I liked how things were explained, but so much of it felt forced. The conflict came too soon and the resolution took too long. I wish I had liked it more.

The Isabella Stuart Gardner museum is my absolute favorite. I’ve been there many times and every time it amazes me. To read about her life was so fun. She was of course a woman of her time, and a very privileged one at that, but I so envy her boldness. To just know what you want and go after it. Very inspiring!

I loved this book. It was so good! I loved that the perspectives change subtly. I loved that it follows the characters through several stages of their lives, but doesn’t feel jarring when the time jumps. I loved how much they all loved each other. Truly beautiful.
