The argument the authors are making is so ridiculous it’s actually entertaining. Chapters contradict each other, almost all their evidence is anecdotal and all the scientists they cite were alive for the opium wars. If I’m a sheep for believing that heroin/morphine/opium is bad for you then so be it.
