It is a great book that I originally bought to find some insight while writing my Master's thesis. I started looking at this book and found that there is a lot of advice that is helpful for other writing as well. I have been using this book to help me better my writing process in general and found that my writing is better and quicker now.
I love the idea of free writing that is brought up in the book. I often find that I have many thoughts whirling around in my head, which makes writing clearly to be difficult. Freewriting allows me to get all of these thoughts and opinions down on my paper so that I can organise them into something that is salvageable.

Brilliant book! It has a lot of great advice; from looking for and finding a job, the interview process, and to dealing with issues while maintaining a job. I found a lot of points on the interview that I hadn’t thought of before. Would recommend this to anyone looking to find a job or start a career.
Five ⭐️ because we love a morally grey male that will anyone but cannot deal with ‘her’ being hurt. Bonus points for being a fae, a king and possessing magic.
Asha was fine as the main character but sometimes she would annoy me when she was a little too ‘black and white’ in her moral reasoning. Her sister Dinah was much easier to read as the story progresses because she would tell Asha that she shouldn’t be judging the ML for hypothetical things he would do if the circumstances were different. I’d almost prefer if Dinah was the FML because she was such a sunshine cinnamon roll and if she was paired with the grumpy king, then it would have been perfect!
