I absolutely loved taming seraphine. She's to date one of my fmcs ever. So of course I had to read about emberly.
Emberly fell flat for me as the fmc. I just got annoyed with some of her more annoying habits. However, I'm so glad I finished. Roman is exactly what is needed from a mmc. Dirty talk, protective and touch her and 💀. I will always ignore the red flags for a mmc like this. While I did struggle with the first half of the book. The second is where all of it comes to a head and ends up being tied up beautifully.
While I do not think she's has menacing as seraphine. I can say stick it out. Emberlys character growth is insane but also I absolutely loved vengeful emberly so much better.
As always read your trigger warnings. This is now my second book from this author. She's truly not kidding with the list. Take it at face value.

I can not get over just how much I loved this book.
I dont have many books that make me cry.
This one had me sobbing in some parts.
These MMCs are the dopamine hit you need truly. They are funny. Heart wrenchingly relatable.. both characters go through so much pain and hurt. And the love they find in each other is inspiring to say the least.
The autism representation in this book is so well done and incredible and wylder is a protect him at all costs kind of character.
So good. Myka loren is incredibly talented with delivering a spicy yet incredibly emotional story that you get sucked into.

The way this story hooked me and refused to let go is unmatched.
It's almost 3 a.m., and i didn't put it down.
Harleighs writing is always so good. But this has got to be favorite..
And what in the PLOT TWIST was that? While the spice in this book is beyond hot.
The plot is absolutely insane. You follow savannah, a reporter tasked to write a tell all on a nortious serial killer in his final days leading to his execution. The absolute lack of self-preservation savannah has is comical. And because of this the unraveling her feelings alone for robbie makes it that more intriguing. A serial killer with a knack of torturing women and killer with an possessive streak and touch her and 💀? Yeah sign me right up..
