I really enjoyed this book! The premise immediately caught my attention and it did not disappoint. Ghost Roast has a lot of heart, a lot of history, and a lot of fun. The characters were so real and so enjoyable to read about. A few even subverted my expectations of who they are in a pleasant way. I know this is a stand alone story but I would love to see more adventures of Chelsea and the Ghost Roast team!

While I am a big BBRae fan, I have to say I would have liked this book to have a slower build for the relationship. They just meet in this book and everything feels rushed, especially when there's so much going on with the plot as well, it does a disservice to both.

That being said, I did enjoy the addition of other characters and am interested in seeing what happens next.

When I first read this when I was a teenager, I loved this book! It was fun and I love fairytale retellings. Now I still enjoyed the book, Kyle's development is really nice but it is an older book and I'm older now so its a bit different than when I was a kid, overall still an enjoyable read - just remember Kyle is supposed to be unlikable in the beginning.
