I am a huge Ruth Ware fan for the most part, but this one didn't feel like it needed to be written, unfortunately :( It was such a repeat of The Woman in Cabin 10, the whole time all I could do was think, "We should already know better." While the pacing was okay and kept me reading, none of it was surprising and I guessed the story almost exactly very very early on.

This thriller had an interesting concept, but unfortunately we never really got to the interesting concept part. The book promises "an extreme game of hide and seek" but we never really god that at all. The rest of it was a predictable thriller. Ultimately this is fine for entertainment, but I really wanted more from the hide and seek aspect.
