This was initially a soft dnf for me because I just wasn't in the mood to work for character development. It does pay off and it gets good faster than I expected it to. The relationships between the characters develop really well and the emotion is woven into it so nicely. I liked this.

I really enjoyed this. I started with audio and read some physically as well. This read as good as I thought the books I read as a teenager were. 😂 I liked the character arcs and the world, I'm very excited for the sequel.

This is really corny but it's supposed to be. It's definitely for lovers of fandoms, it's dual POV but not with romantic leads. There's identity swapping and I think they did a realistic job of flubbing it a bit 😂 this is the 2nd book of interconnected standalones and I would read the other two.

This is charming and I enjoyed listening to it, the end is a bit of a slog. The solution is obvious and how they're going to get there is obvious but they just take a lot of time to get there in a way that's a little bit annoying. I did enjoy it enough to read the sequel

I was firmly recommending this before I was even 25% in. The premise and characters got me hooked immediately and never let up through the whole story.

The last quarter felt extremely rushed compared to the beginning but overall I really liked this! I was told that Tarah is reworking her catalog as it's getting tradpubbed and I'd reread this in the new version because I bet any clunkiness will be gone. Overall the characters were loveable and the writing was entertaining, looking forward to reading more from her.

I did not like this as much as the first one. I got a bit frustrated with the characters (classic YA). I'm not fully sure if I liked the ending. I'm feeling lots of a feelings though, so, good book even if I'm 😭
