This was a fun read - the world building was super unique and I really liked how the modern city elements were mixed with fantasy elements and magic.

The spicy scenes were delightful and the banter amongst the characters really added to their depth. I appreciated the mystery component and wished we had lingered in the details a bit more.

The missing star comes from what felt like a pretty rushed ending with a bit of a “cop out” solution for one of the main characters.

Still, I’m excited to see what happens next in this world!

I was given an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was cute and fun. The “mystery” portion wrapped up a little too quickly
Imo. And the whole
Gentry has luck magic thing was never really explained - I’d have loved to see that fleshed out more

Overall this was a fun and easy read!
