One For My Enemy by Olivie Blake

So my first attempt at reading this one failed. I picked it back up and got through it the second time. The story was good, a retelling of Romeo and Juliet, and it kept my attention. If I were to give it one negative it would be that at times it felt like it was made too complicated with the many names for each character and just too much fluff. The story line was good and I did enjoy it. 3.4 stars. Thank you for the eARC.

This book had a bit of everything I hate about horror movies. That said, I still read the entire thing even though I was scared through at least the first half of the book. Haunted houses, things popping out at you, creepy messages, an attic, murders... you name it. If these things are things you like, then this book is for you. And of course, it had that ending that left me creeped out all over again. Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC. 4 stars.

As much as I wanted to like this one, I just couldn't get past all the characters and the far too unnecessarily complicated storyline.  It had a good idea behind it, but it was just too hard for me to decipher the actual story beyond all the confusion. 2 stars. Thank you, for the eARC.

This book is about broken people coming together to make each other whole again. I am a huge fan of Emily Henry and everything she writes. I loved everything about Daphne and Miles and loved to hate Peter and Petra. And the little town of Waning Bay made me want to up and move to a little town where everyone knows you and knows your coffee order. Thank you for the eARC. 4.5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book. All be it, it was a bit long for my liking, but it was still good. The Count will have a place in my heart. Now to watch the show. 4.5 stars

Lynn Painter is becoming an auto-read for me. Her books are so much fun and so very entertaining. When Sophie's wedding is crashed by a hired "objector," she has a new look at life. Little did she know the "objector" would become her best friend. Because she has sworn off love, friends is all they will be, even though their chemistry is through the roof. I loved this book. 5 stars. Thank you for the eARC.

This was an intense ride. This is my second book by Gentill, and I believe I liked this one better than The Woman in the Library. It had action, mystery, a little bit of a love story, and a lot of murders. What more can you ask for in a murder mystery? Thank you for the eARC. 4.5 stars.
