Sam finds himself in a pickle when he meets with his uptight boss, Jonathan. Jonathan is ready to fire Sam and his entire crew for being an underproducing branch. An unfortunate accident leads to fake amnesia and an actual concussion, and Sam finds himself immersed in Jonathan's world. What Sam didn't plan on was seeing his boss as something more than the tyrant he was. This great enemies-to-lovers story had all the feels, laughs, and swoons that is Alexis Hall. Thank you, Sourcebooks Casablanca, for the eARC. 4.5 stars.

Cute, and fun and kept my attention, but not mind-blowing.

Emily is a struggling screenwriter who is stuck in her day job. She needs to make a change, and soon. When she gets together with long-lost friends to remember that fateful spring break when one of the 5 went missing and presumed dead, what better setting to hash out her new screenplay? Twists and turns leave the girls at each other, trying to find out what happened on that fateful night. This book had the storyline to be good, but it just fell flat for me with the structure. With the flashes of the screenplay interspersed with the story, it became a bit confusing, and I found myself a bit frustrated instead of just enjoying the story. I did finish, and for that, it gets 3 stars. It's not one of my favorites, and just okay. Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC.

I love Tessa Bailey’s books but this one seemed to have too much conflict between the two leads. Melody having issues again at the end of the book was just too much for me. The story line was cute and I did enjoy it, just not one of my favorites by Bailey.

Olivia and Zach met on a whirlwind trip in Italy and immediately fell in love. Upon returning to the states, engaged, the two have to tell their parents and hope for their approval. Both sets of parents are divorced and have significant issues with the marriage being so quick and at such young ages. But this isn't even close to the drama that is to come when both mothers meet each other for what is supposed to be the first time over brunch. When they come face to face, the mothers know each other fart too well. They were once best friends, before one night, their friendship and a coming marriage were destroyed.  This story was straight out of the movies. It had everything you would want in a book. Thank you, NetGalley for the eARC. 4 stars.
