True crime podcaster Rachel Krall is back again, but not by her choice. When she is tricked into flying to Florida by the FBI, she gets entangled in a case regarding a serial killer. The cops are pointing to Terrance Bailey and haven't really looked at any other suspects. But did he commit the crimes they are trying to pin on him? Rachel will find the truth even if it puts her in harm's way. Another fun mystery by Goldin. I did figure it out long before the end of the book, but that did not make it any less enjoyable. 4 stars. Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC.

When I heard Rachel Griffin was coming out with another book I was so excited. I have loved everything she has written. Tana's fate of marrying to secure the fate of her coven has loomed over her, her entire life. When things she has been told her entire life start to not make sense and she learns the truth, the path she will take brings her to decisions that will have lasting consequences for everyone. I loved this book. Thank you for the eARC. 5 stars.

I was not prepared for the creepy factor of this book. When puzzle master Mike Brink is called in to visit with convicted murderer Jess Price, his world turns upside down. Jess is charged with a murder that has changed her mental status. It is up to Mike to solve the puzzle that Jess has laid out for him and in the process not get killed himself. This was a fast-paced brush with creepy dolls that I was not expecting, but it was very well done. Thank you, NetGalley for the eARC. 4 stars.

This book was creepy beyond belief, mixed with a love story for the ages. When I heard this was going to be a scary book mixed with a love story, I thought people were crazy. How do those two mesh? Very well, according to Isabel Canas. This was my second book by her, and she will now be a go-to author for me. Even though she scares the crap out of me. 5 stars. Thank you for the eARC

Lucky Girl was a look at how a Nigerian woman views life as she moves to New York to pursue her dreams. With the strong beliefs that she grew up with at war with her trying to live her life to her desires, Soila has a hard time knowing what to do. Through the ups and downs of life in the big city, she finds what she should do and what she wants to do are two very different things. This book was emotional, intelligent, funny, and heartwarming, all rolled into one. Soila's story will leave you with a desire to live to your heart's fullest. 4 stars. This book left me scratching my head and flustered beyond belief. My brain can not comprehend the ending in the best way. When Bodie is asked to go back to her high school boarding school to teach two classes, her past life she has done her best to bury, comes back in full force. The murder of her roommate Thalia has been re-opened as it is believed that Omar was wrongly convicted. But who actually murdered Thalia? Who was overlooked and who was covered for? Some questions may never be answered. Thank you for the eARC 5 stars.

This was a fun rom-com. There were times that I felt were a bit drawn out and a few too many sex scenes, but aside from that I enjoyed it. I will be reading book two and interested to see which characters are in this one.

This was my first book that had trans characters, and I loved it and the way the topic was addressed. The story was a fun ride through a fake relationship that led to real feelings. When Luna finds herself unemployed, she has to scramble to figure out how to pay the bills. When the opportunity falls in her lap to be the fake girlfriend to Jean-Pierre, there is nothing stopping her, especially with the amount of money he is offering to pay her. Long nights trying to learn to cook and paparazzi-laden evenings send Luna and Jean-Pierre into each other's arms. This was a fun take on this trope and I enjoyed it. Thank you, NetGalley, for the eARC. 4 stars
