I have strong mixed feelings about this book. I liked Maggie at first but then I found her inability to open up frustrating. Her relationship with Dom felt like it jumped from hating him to doing him. A large part of her past centered around her mistrust and then it felt like she randomly decided it was fine to be friends with benefits.

The overall story builds to a rather intense conclusion surrounding her brother’s death from cancer and her abandonment issues. Please read the context warning.
