i loved the references to the early-mid 2010s. this book was so funng at times and while I’m not from Viso, I could easily picture the plot unfolding

almost DNF this book but since it’s so short I kept reading

it just felt like it wen’t nowhere, I was more interested on her obsession with the women than the men itself, he just felt quite boring. the main character just felt annoying a lot of the times. usually I enjoy small chapters but something about this book made me not enjoy the writting style + the timeline is confusing at times

by the end I kept asking who was this book written for? why was it written?
I really wish the author had went further into her social commentary about capitalism, whiteness and class

like some other reviewers said: guess I’m NOT a fan

it was hard to rate this book, there’s no particular reason that i can point why this book is not a 5 star book for me, maybe it’s the fact that i’m allistic.
still enjoyed reading the book, it was upfront and honest depiction and how the system and society fail autistic women. i enjoyed the little humorous parts

this quote stuck with my throughout the book:
“Everyone else had nice, run-of-the-mill mental illnesses like anxiety or depression with simple, easy explanations, and for them it was positively revelatory that they could just take citalopram! Don't be ashamed to take your meds! And have talking therapy! And it's all okay. Isn't it so great we can all talk about this in such a liberal, open way?”

the main character is the definition of someone who just discovered late stage capitalism sucks

i adored the ending, how it can have a positive or negative twist depending on the outlook

enjoyable reading, the plot really gets you wanting to read more but the ending just felt predictable and random at the same time

well I usually consider myself to not be overly sensitive to reading things, but this book really was out here picking the things that I find the most disgusting worms and vomit

as with tell me i’m worthless, i loved this book, had to cut some points for the ending as it felt a bit rushed, but honestly still surprised that the last few pages still had me just wanting to say “what the actual fuck”
