THIS BOOK NEEDS A TRIGGER WARNING FOR RAPE!!!
Granted there are no graphic depictions of actual rape, just elusive flash backs and sex trafficking, however it is brought up often and could be very triggering for a survivor of sexual assault.
However if you are not triggered, don't let this deter you from reading it. It is a wonderful, guilty pleasure of a book. I just want people to be aware that it may be triggering.
The ending is wack as f*ck, but up until the last chapter it's a non stop adventure. Don't get me wrong, the ending isn't bad, it's just lame and not what you'd expect, but it was a very Alice way to end the book, so it still fits within the narrative.
I'll probably read the sequel, Red Queen: The Chronicles of Alice, but due to the last chapter, I'm just not in as much of a hurry to read it, as I was while I was reading the second to the last chapter.
All in all a very good book, a very, very easy read, and a very interesting take on an already exhausted troupe.

I kind of nothing this book. It's not bad, but it's not good either, it's just fine. It's like the store brand version of everything, sure you'll take it, but it's not really what you had in mind.
