The Grump and the Chef

I devoured this book in one sitting! The duel pov of the two MCs was very entertaining to read and their self doubts, revelations and desires put the characters into perspective and gave them a life of their own.
From a strong FMC who went out to seek solace in one of her family cabins to a MMC who was about to have his solitary lifestyle turned upside down with their meeting.
The sexual tension and passion that the two MC have in the book is well worth the read alone.
A mountain man, a chef and a few odd characters make this a good read and once the candle of passion is ignited watch out for the firestorm.

Brewin’ Up Love is a cute, wholesome story that follows Brooke and Nate. When plans change at Prom, both Brooke and Nate have to learn to live their lives on two different paths, college and baseball.

Filled with adorable puns, apple pies and coffee.

Set in Alabama, Brewin’ Up Love is a prequel to Kaci Lane’s Single Southern Mamas series.

There is kissing, some innuendo and a lot of wholesomeness that you can practically smell the fresh baking pies and coffee.

Brutal Obsession is dark, hot and suspenseful. I really enjoyed it and this has left me questioning myself. Violet and Grayson are definitely destined to have their lives intertwined together. A dancer and a hockey player, drama, stalkers and knife play, hunter and prey and parents who are questionable.
The spice was on point, hot, hard and bloody at times.

I laughed, cried and did everything to keep this story going forever!

Great storyline with loveable, believable characters that you will fall in love with and some characters that you will absolutely hate.

The spicy was perfect, not over the top. It was hot, well paced and very enjoyable.

Carter and Olivia are who you want your relationship to be like. I am an emotional reader and I was crying and laughing in parts of this book and just fell in love with them all.

A Sinful Gift follows Hazel, a competent lawyer who ends up with an indecent proposal between Blake and Mason. Blake has a history with Hazel, and wants her in all the possible ways. Mason, has heard about Hazel from Blake and he wants her too.
Kidnapping her, the three enter into a sexually fueled relationship of hard, rough sex and lovemaking. We find out just how strong their bonds are as they want Hazel. Not everything is as it seems with Blake, Mason and Hazel.
The story is full of wanted sexual desires and a sense of belonging.
Definitely recommended for those wanting a quickie to get them through the night.

Narrated by a cast including Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke, One of those Flings is a lighthearted romance story.

Skyler is headed to Hawaii to celebrate a wedding but to also celebrate her one year anniversary of remaining single and focusing on herself and taking more risks by trying new things.

Caleb, is leading a tour group that Skyler has booked herself into. Needless to say, rules are broken and adventures are had.

I took the opportunity to listen to this book through Audible.

Narrated by Scott Eastwood and Andi Arndt. Who both brought the characters to life through their interpretation of Lauren Blakely's vision.

This story is told in dual POV from Hunter and Presley, two dated once but a job opportunity that was too good to pass up, saw Hunter and Presley go in separate directions only to be brought back together for a new adventure.

Saying sorry isn't enough, but can their broken hearts mend, will they find forgives?

The story is well paced giving each character a good time lapse of what they have been doing post breakup to present day.

I listened to Lucky Suit through Audible.

Narrated by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt, this is a cute little story of dating and finding your perfect fit, even if it is through the help of you grandmother.

A quick little story similar to You've got mail, but rather over online poker and Instagram posting. The main character, Kristen Leonard, has been unlucky in love, well the dating scene, so she tries online dating to see if she can find the love of her life. Whilst her sassy grandmother, has the perfect man in mind for her, Cameron, and she goes about setting them up.

There are a few laugh out loud moments and devious pranks but in the end it seems like it comes together.

I read and listened to the audiobook for Beachfront Bakery - A Killer Cupcake, and it was an enjoyable read and listen. The main character, Ali, is a strong woman who has to make a hard decision about the future of her life and to follow her dreams. Carb-free diets, seaside communities and murder. How does Ali, the newcomer, prove she isn't involved in the murder of a local pest! Cooking pastries and solving a murder.

The storyline is humorous, full of adventure and has the moral fortitude of following your dreams and facing obstacles head on. There is a dash of romantic interest from three very handsome men who all want to help Ali with her business.

I gave this book a 4 out of 5, for its wholesome storyline, strong characters and plot.

The audio version of the book was narrated by Ulka Mohanty who has a beautiful way of bringing the characters to life, portraying their feelings and the scenes. Although, her attempts at the Australian accent, is stereotypical of the stereotype and pronunciation of Bondi Beach is comical. Ulka Mohanty did a great job and I loved listening to A Killer Cupcake between my drives to work and home and whilst cooking.
