Despite the book being around only 159 pages long the events in it were a lot, diverse and very descriptive to the extent that it steals you from where you are to Morisaki the secondhand bookstore and readers’ world. It will touch base with your love of reading and how when you read a secondhand book you feel connected with the previous reader through a highlighted passage or finding a pressed flower between the book pages; “At some point in the past, someone reading this book had felt moved to take a pen and draw a line under these words. It made me happy to think that because I had been moved by that same passage too, I was now connected to that stranger.”

The story itself was good it is about Takako a 25 years old girl who got cheated and dumped by her boyfriend feeling her world flipped upside down she left her work and went to help her uncle with his secondhand bookshop and lived there till she get back her life all together and how books helped her to heal.

A classical is a classical and The hunchback of Notre Dame is a story we have grown up to hearing and seeing it in movies so it is something in our veins.
However reading it was a completely different experience; I have to admit that I enjoyed Les Misérables more. As in the Hunchback of Notre Dame the story itself was more tragic and violent than the movies specially the Disney colorful one, also the incidents would have been written in a much shorter book as there was a lot of descriptions for the french society and Paris at that time that could have been written in a separate distinct book.

هذا الكتاب عبارة عن مقالات قصيرة تضم مراجعة طه حسين لبعض الكتب التى قرأها.
فى بداية كل مقالة يذكر محاسن الكاتب و يمدح فيه ثم يبدأ فى ذكر محاسن الكتاب ومدى استمتاعه به و حينما يرى سلبيات فى الكتاب التى يتوجب عليه ذكرها فأنه يذكرها بصورة عتاب للكاتب مما يعكس رقيه كإنسان ونتعلم هنا من طه حسين كيفية النقد البناء بأسلوب متحضر ومشاعر رقيقة حتى لا يُفسد للود قضية.

What is better than an usual romantic novel about an unexpected love encounter of a book agent who read as many romantic novels as anyone can imagine to the extent that she could predict all the plots and events however when her sister decided to take her to a one month vacation in the town from their favorite book she was unable to predict what will happen with her own love story.

In my opinion this is the ultimate relationship book and my most recommended; it delivers the core principles to make the strongest foundation for a healthy marriage  and relationship.
It is very realistic and important for every person who tends to have a healthy relationship to know these principles and to bear in mind that every relationship requires constant work from each partner.

سوف تأخذك الرواية فى رحلة فى تاريخ مصر فى فترتين الاحتلال الانجليزى وفترة عصر الاسرات تحديدا الأسرة الثامنة عشر.
ستشهد رحلة معاناة المصريين خلال الاحتلال الإنجليزي واحتياجهم للتحرر واستعادة إثبات هويتهم وهوية مصر وفى الجانب الاخر كيف تم تهريب اثار البلد الى الخارج فى مقابل اكتشافهم بواسطة العلماء الانجليز.
ثم سترجع عبر التاريخ الى عصر الاسرة الثامنة عشر وتشهد كيف حارب إخناتون فكرة الالهة المتعددة وثورته على الطقوس الدينية الشاذة فى محاولته لتوحيد آلهة مصر التى باءت بالفشل بعد موته وعودة الممارسات المعهودة.

رواية تتناول مرض نفسى يستغله بعض الاشخاص فى تبرير افعالهم الاجرامية.
مع ناعومي وأخواتها سوف تعيش مآسيها واللحظات التى ادت الى اضطرابها لكنك ستصل الى النهاية وانت لا تفهم ما الذى حدث.
رواية جميلة تصلح جدا لان تتحول الى عمل درامى ناجح.
