The Return: A Pride and Prejudice Story by Timothy Underwood

I really enjoyed the read, it's a sweet retelling and unmistakably came from a place of love for the original story.
Il diario di Mr. Darcy by Amanda Grange

This book does exactly what it says on the cover—it's a diary of Pride and Prejudice events from Darcy's point of view. It sticks to the original story pretty closely. While it might not add anything enough to be memorable, it's still an enjoyable read!
Most Ardently: A Pride & Prejudice Remix by Gabe Cole Novoa

I'm a huge fan and collector of Pride and Prejudice rewrites, and I'm sorry to say this one missed the mark. While the premise had potential, the plot quickly lost its way. I can accept the change of setting from Longbourn to London to facilitate Oliver's disguise, and even the characters being younger (though reading Darcy addressed as "boy" was a strange choice). However, the core of the story—Darcy's initial coldness and his gradual softening—needs to be preserved. Yes, Darcy's "not handsome enough" line at the ball when Oliver presents himself as Elizabeth is there, but during their first encounter as Oliver, Darcy is already warm and sociable. Unfortunately, that just didn't work for me. The Collins and Wickham sections were simply boring.

I'm consistently drawn to Kinsella's style and pacing. Her characters, even with their imperfections, are always lovable and remind me of people in my own life. This particular novel resonated deeply; the portrayal of burnout felt incredibly relatable. It's a wonderfully funny and heartwarming story.

I'd seen Mistborn countless times in bookstores and online, but as a picky fantasy reader, I always hesitated. Finally, I gave it a try, and I'm so glad I did. The magic system and world-building are fascinating, and I loved discovering them alongside the main character, rather than through a tedious infodump. The characters are distinct and memorable, and the plot is well-paced. I'll definitely be continuing this series.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable read. It's fascinating to see Jane Austen's characteristic wit shining through in this juvenile piece. It's a charming glimpse into her developing style, full of her trademark humor. It's also clear how much she relished Gothic novels in her youth, and that playful influence is a real treat.

The exquisite Abeditore edition first caught my eye, and Le Fanu's short novel within did not disappoint. It's a masterfully crafted Gothic tale, perfectly capturing that eerie, unsettling atmosphere. A truly well-spent reading experience.

This is a classic. I read it for the first time when I was a kid, and every ten years or so, I find myself rereading it. I just listened to Andy Serkis's interpretation, and it was absolutely amazing. The characters are so lovingly curated and easily recognizable. 5 stars for sure!

Ps. Non è autoconclusiva.
