This book was way too long.  There are like 200 pages in the middle that are just filler and not very exciting or interesting.  I will admit to a decent amount of skimming.  I like Caleb & Jake & Ilmari.  They all had distinct personalities and I found them quite lovable.

 I don’t really care for Rachel all that much.  She was fairly cringe-worthy in my opinion.  I did love her confidence and competence in her profession, I have no complaints about that aspect of her character.

except for um sleeping with 2 of her patients oops

But as an example, here is Rachel describing herself (in the third person no less) to one of her boyfriends:

“She’s a Thai-food eating, scrubs-wearing, curses-like-a-sailor hot mess of a doctor. A born and bred rock’n’roller who grew up dropping acid behind the amps at her daddy’s sold-out shows.”

Bleh no thank you.

So anyway, Idk if I’ll be continuing this series, especially if the books are the same unnecessary length of 700+ pages.

This was a little too heavy on the on the insta love for me.  I have already started Pucking Around and am enjoying it.  But this novella is just a bit too over the top on the emotions for a one night stand.  It didn’t feel very believable.

This book gave me the ick.  I really liked Dmitri and I hate that this is going to end with Victoria & him in love in spite of the fact that she willingly planned to con a man who treated her so generously and lovingly right from the start
