the ending was hopeful yet extremely vague and i think i can appreciate that. i don’t know what to make of it but i really enjoyed the reflection that was able to happen throughout reading and sally rooney is a person i would like to have a conversation with someday.

i had a hard time connecting the stories but after analysis a lot of the little details come to light and it’s very intriguing to me how everything is connected. this book is for a specific audience but can emotionally impact anyone. it makes you want to tell your mom you love her and learn her entire life story :( the characters all have their faults but that’s the point; this book is meant for reflection.

this book confused me. i’m also confused on how i feel about it. i didn’t know what was going on (or at least i couldn’t visualize it a lot of the time) but when i did understand it i guess i enjoyed it. the one thing that i will give true cred to this book for was some of the beautiful love quotes. it reminded me of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind at parts, dealing with time and such, but also of 1984 with the dystopian side. i will admit i was put in a reading slump for a while after reading the first bit, but i’d say i’m glad i finished it. when i look back on my annotations it is fun. overall the experience wasn’t as perfect as one would hope but the story was a good one and it gave me an opportunity to laugh at myself for being stupid.

this book was kinda crazy ??? like genuinely it made me think about things so much and although the book was like terrible to get through the insight was very interesting. i will probably be checking out animal farm at some point just from reading this of Orwell’s. wow man i don’t even know what to say. i remember thinking how weird this book was when i started but i feel like this will stick with me and i’m glad i got to think about the topics it brought to the front of my mind. like it made me feel really weird but in a good way. uncomfortable but needed.
