Black Love and Growth

This was one of the wildest love stories I’ve read so far. I’m a sucker for a good black love story, and the growth Lavish and Mitchell brought out in each other was remarkable to witness.

Watching Eden come out of her shell and into the arms of a man who really had her best interest at heart was worth the read. Yes Kimberly, you’ve again given us a beautiful story.

An Overcomer

I loved how Honey managed to overcome all of her fears. She didn’t let it stop her from wanting to find love. It was amazing to read her growth.

Yes to giving love a chance!

Lei and Zy’s story was pure fate. I felt so bad that an entire 3 weeks had passed before they saw each other again. A wonderful love story! So glad Lei decided to give it a chance.

Let love…

Chanera finally left the land of denial and got her man. So glad they were finally able to get to the bottom of things. Even if it took 10 years.

When you know….

This was the best escape from the shallow dating pool that I, as a single, am currently swimming through. Isaiah was so confident and headstrong in how he felt about Oak. I love how he didn’t rush her to make a decision but was was honest about his feelings and laid it all out from day one. An incredible read, from an incredible author.

Maya was cutting her on self short the entire time in her work, her illness, and not being true to what she wanted. Derek’s inability to be honest with his daughter in the beginning was frustrating as well. Jamila seemed to be the only one that wasn’t making things so complicated and she was the child. It was a good read about choosing to go for what you want.
