I loved the other two books in this series so I’m very sad I didn’t really enjoy this one
I like my book boyfriends unhinged but Ronan gave me the ick several times and especially after that “turning point” at the beginning I absolutely hated him. While I do think he kind of redeemed himself at the end and I get why others might not feel the same I still think he’s a piece of shit for the way he treated Mila
(I also despise MMCs that always say women throw themselves at them and “women are so easy” and act like the FMC is just a dumb little girl and Ronan definitely gave me that vibe)
Sadly this book wasn’t for me

I love Walker, he is UNHINGED! This book might be my favourite out of the three
I love that Olivia had her own unique backstory. It gave the book what it needed to be different from the other two books so that it didn’t feel repetitive

I’m a bit sad after that second epilogue because I was really hoping Camden’s book would be an M/M with Logan 😭😭 I’ll still definitely read it though

This book had me giggling and kicking my feet 🤭
Daddy Emerson, Sir 🫡

I loved seeing Charlie become confident in her skin and in her sexuality! This was a great book to show that sex and pleasure is nothing to be ashamed of
And the spice was top notch 😮‍💨🥵

I also love that we got a bit of side plot with a transgender side character, I love Sophie!
I think it had the perfect amount of focus on the struggles with transphobia and for people to relate without it taking away from the main plot of the romance between the two MCs

This was very cute and I enjoyed it but I was a bit bored throughout the book and in the last 100 pages it felt like the book was never gonna end
It was very insta lovey in a way where there was quite some time before they actually loved each other but I didn’t see any of it because in the first 80 pages they barely interacted and then suddenly they were crazy for each other.
There also was a lot of info dumping that I honestly didn’t really care about

This book was so so so incredibly beautiful
It seriously broke my heart and then put it back together again
Justin is the ultimate book boyfriend
(“Only” 4,75 because I didn’t get that 5 star feeling)

I didn’t like the third act break up. It makes complete sense and it was the right thing to do but I still didn’t like it because I never like it when they’re break up lasts this long

This was everything I wanted and more. A dark hockey romance with a tattooed, unhinged/ obsessed mmc, that makes me throw feminism out the window? Sign me up
This was just what I needed to turn off my brain

It think the most important part with this book is to not go in blindly and not expect it to be a normal hockey romance. It is DARK. Check the TW!
