On one hand, this book was beautiful. On the other hand...what? I love a good love story and I especially love enemies to lovers. I loved the getting to know you through letter writing and the evolution from death threats, to banter and learning about each other? Like what kind of tea they like, to love. Someone told me it was kind of like spy versus spy, which I definitely got those vibes in the beginning and that was really fun. But the world building was lacking in a big way. I'm not really sure what the war was about even though I am sure it had to do with power or something. How was time travel possible? What exactly was the garden? I'm not sure if I just missed something but those aspects were confusing.
