I totally get why this book is so popular on BookTok and why it was a must read for pride month! I really enjoyed reading it and could relate to many Austin, Texas references. Was very funny and made many pop culture puns/ref I could still understand (guess I’m not that old…yet). I’m disappointed in myself though that this is the first romance novel I have read depicting two men - and wow was it a page turner! Look forward to reading more from this author.

Bought this book because of all the hype on social. About midway through the novel (the part where Cadence is playing tennis) I guessed the plot twist somehow. I think it would have been a *much more enjoyable read if I didn’t.
Very quick read, good for the summer!

Probably an unpopular opinion (considering how hyped it is online), but I did not enjoy this novel. I think because I went into it thinking this was a romance…definitely was not. It was interesting seeing how Lily got through handling domestic violence, but I really didn’t like Ryle from the start. Just didn’t really connect with this one :/

Very cute and funny! Great summer rom-com (though the ending was a little different and could have done without in my opinion). Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the message in this novel. Cried at the end, especially after reading the acknowledgments. One of my favorite novels for sure this year <3
