Eva says this all the time!!!!! No idea why it annoyed me so much....
Still i do love the book and its complicated characters.....
Eva i love and hate her.... Im really not sure of her reactions sometimes.
Gideon is too cheesy sometimes... but i do love me some chedder... Just maybe not so much.

The pirate lord....
Loved this, it's weird going back to the novellas after finishing the series, to the way Aelin used to be as Celaena.... Spoilt and full of herself, still a great story and finally got to meet Sam

Meh this story just reitirates Yrenes version which we allready know...
The desert
This one was great, a look into How Aelin gained the respect of her allies and they came when she called... And also the much anticipated story of the horse theft.
The underworld.
This was mainly Celaena and Sam's love story.... My heart!
The empire
This is full of loss, deceit and heartache.... Still 4 out of the 5 novellas were really good.
Sam, I loved him, it was hard going into these books knowing his fate.... He is both a mix of Chaol and Rowen..... Sam's stubborn, proud and wants to be the man, i personally don't think he would have made the greatest consort to Aelin... King maybe Consort no.... I don't think he could take the passenger seat without opinions and arguments (A bit like Chaol) But also that Celeana was his world and priority and he would move mountains for her (That is Rowens traits) He seems to be a blend of them both... Sam He was perfect for Celeana and Rowen was perfect for Aelin... I like to think when Aelins human part dies (Celeana) she goes back to Sam as that part of her belongs to him as Aelin her fae side is Rowan's....

Ok i loved this the only reason its a .5 down is i love the Phoenix Pack series just a smidgen more...
So Sam joins the Grand Master and his island of vamps as she has a unique gift.
Interesting in this book there are three types of vamp Svente (which Sam is.) Apparently the least ordinary of the three, Pagori who are fast and strong, and the Keja the really attractive ones.
Sam suprises everyone with a very rare gift thats unique to Svente Vampires insuring her a spot as a commander of a group on the vamp Island.
Que Jared the incredibly hot Pagori vamp who is heir to the grand master, and grudgingly falling under Sams spell as they are paired together to train recruits.
I love Suzanne Wrights books this is no exception, its the way she writes... Descriptions, character building, world building and chemistry between the characters is brilliant.

Wow what an amazing series!!!!
From the Word go i cold not see how this couple was going to get past the murders.....
But that ending and the revenge on the town with all the Magic.....or computer work.... was brilliant

A little Ick factor with Cole and His Dad with Jordan..... Not so much the Age Gap... A different situation i may have enjoyed it more!!!!

I did find this dragged out a bit, but I think it needed to to fully understand the contentment between Dani and Murdoch at the end, I also love how this was happening during all the other brothers stories .loved both characters even though the miscomunication between them grated one a few times... Still an amazing read as always

i adore jilly coopers books i read them when i was 18 im 28 now and have the latest book so i thought would go back and re-read them all.... riders obv the classic, but i love the upper class English portrayal, im from Hampshire in England and have had horses / showjumping / the hunt and find it brilliant i can imagine back in the 80s it was probably like that.... shes hit the nail on the head and has some brilliant characters i live in Greece now and allways read her books when im homesick.
Edit: A reread at 33!!!! Still love it as always... but some of the things they do are unhygienic..... Makes me cringe.....
