This was such a good book! For a while there at the beginning it felt like the story was simply being told to you and not shown or you be allowed to be submerged into it. But once I got past that it became an amazing story! A great mixture of suspense, mystery, history, and one of healing. Definitely would be. Re-read.

It was slow for a while and there was definitely some things that felt like it was a repeat of the first book, but once it picked up about halfway through it became easier to get into. Definitely enjoyed the ending.

This book was really good. It is both irritating and nice to have seen the movies. Some parts of the book seem less thrilling and tense because of how the movie was made. But it was still really good. Sometimes, having watched a movie or show before reading the source material, it can be hard to remember that the book is what is "canon."
